You might not always know exactly what you want. Sometimes, you just know what you don’t want. This isn’t one of those scenarios. I know what I want and what I don’t want when it comes to men and relationships.
Here’s a short list:
I want a mind that is kind to me.
I want a man who respects me.
I don’t want a man who sees me as a lesser gender or a messenger.
I want a man who will treat me like I’m fragile and precious, like a gem.
I want a man who will make me feel comfortable enough to be vulnerable, as a lover and as a friend.
I don’t want a man who makes backhanded comments, consciously or unconsciously.
I want a man who will challenge me, support me, and encourage me.
I want a man who is God-fearing.
I don’t want a man who is self-absorbed. Ewww.
I want a man who takes charge, an ambitious man, one who plans everything so I don’t have to.
